Today I am going to review about a recent purchase of something I was double minded about in the beginning.. but now.. totally loving it
Its the LAKME ABSOLUTE PRECISION LIQUID EYELINER :)
I was double minded in the beginning because it is pen-like and doesn't have a brush applicator.. but i never knew its gonna be so good :) :)

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

QUANTITY: 1.2 ml

PACKING: Comes as a black coloured pen filled with liquid eyeliner, and all details mentioned in silver.

CLAIMS:
1. Super long wear
2. Waterproof
3. Ophthalmologically tested

Unique tip for a super smooth, mistake proof and one stroke precise jet black line

DIRECTIONS: Replace cap tightly after use. Store tip down.

MY REVIEW:
As i have already mentioned, i was doubtfull about buying this one.. coz i have used only brush applicators in the past. But i have to say that i am loving this product. With the pen tip, it is much easier to apply. Less prone to mistakes :P
Good to create the much-in-style winged look :)
Is long wear for sure but not waterproof :( Atleast easy to remove :P
And i dont know, coz i am no expert, but a single stroke does not work for me.. i do multiple strokes.. but the outcome is good.. jet black :)
Gives a matt finish.

WILL I BUY IT AGAIN? With so many products out there that are yet to be tried, plus the new launches.. I guess i will search for something new..
But it isnt because i didnt like it, just pure human nature ;) :P

MAYBELLINE COLOR BLOOM - COLOR CHANGING LIP BALMS

Hi all :)
Today i will be reviewing MAYBELLINE COLOR BLOOM - COLOR CHANGING LIP BALMS

I just love this brand for the quality it provides at such a genuine price :) :)

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

SHADES: Peach Blossom, Pink Blossom

QUANTITY: 1.7 gm

PRICE: 99/-

PACKING: Comes in a nice slender tube

INGREDIENTS: Enriched with pro Vit E, known to be a natural anti-oxidant and Jojoba oil.
(Sorry I don't have the complete list, I have been using these for quite sometime now and have already discarded the packaging)

CLAIMS:
1. Color changes on lips - The transparent balm changes to your own unique pink or coral shade on your lips.
2. Continuous moisture - Lips feel soft, smooth and hydrated for up to 6 hours.
3. UV Protection - SPF 16 for healthy, protected lips.

SHELF LIFE: 3 years

TEXTURE: It is a creamy color changing balm

MY REVIEW:
Peach Blossom gives a nice coral color good for day outs while Pink Blossom converts to an intense shade of pink ideal for evenings :)
Pricing is good. I love the girly packaging.
Claims to contain vit E and Jojoba oil, both of which are good for the skin. But I feel its a normal lip balm and will surely hydrate lips but will not cure chapped lips. If you have excessively dry lips, this may not work for you.
Has SPF 16, no fear of tanning lips, can be easily worn during day time.
Also has an awesome fruity fragrance :)

According to its claim - lips feel soft, smooth and hydrated for up to 6 hours. Well, the creamy layer of balm stays on only for around 2 hours, the stain however stays longer. Still, no matter how many times you reapply, it never feels heavy. So you can touch up n number of times. But repeated application will surely build up the stain. So apply judiciously :)

WILL I BUY IT AGAIN? I liked Peach Blossom more than Pink Blossom. The intense pink doesn't work well for me :( Does not suit my face :(
However the Peach one gives a nice coral shade (plus corals are sooo in!) and i just love it on my lips :) :)
Will surely buy the Peach one again :)

LUSH BUFFY BODY BUTTER

I just love this brand for their product fragrances <3 <3
Plus they claim to be freshly hand-made, what can be better :)

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

This is what mine looks like..

PACKING: This is the one point I don't like about Lush, they don't provide any box with their products :(
The product is just wrapped in a piece of paper and a sticker with all the details of the product is put on it.

INGREDIENTS:
Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao) , Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii) , Ground Rice (Oryza sativa) , Ground Almonds (Prunus dulcis) , Ground Aduki Beans (Phaseolus) , Fragrance , Lavender Oil (Lavandula hybrida) , Lemon Oil (Citrus limonum) , *Citral ,*Limonene , *Linalool

CLAIMS AND DIRECTIONS: Exfoliating scrub for your seating area. Use buffy on wet skin, in bath or shower, to make you softer and smooth to the touch. Buff yourself all over, paying special attention to your backside if you would like special attention to be paid to it in future; rinse off the exfoliating bits of rice, almonds and beans and pat yourself dry. There is no need for body lotion after a buffy, because the cocoa and shea butters in it moisturize your skin beautifully. There is something about exfoliating your body that makes you feel bright and bouncy as well as smooth all over. Slay that cellulite. ( It was initially named Buffy - The Back Slayer!)

Best used fresh! ;)

TEXTURE: It comes as a solid bar.

MY REVIEW:
LUSH products claim to be freshly hand made :)
A bit pricey.. but not overly priced for sure.. its worth the amount :)
It lives up to its claims.. it is a body scrub + body butter. Exfoliates well and there is definitely no need of any moisturizer afterwards. In fact I would say that you will need to rub away excess of the product and it takes time.. so reserve this special body treatment for a day off ;)
The fragrance, as i already mentioned is awesome.. kinda gives you aroma therapy as well :P

For storage, u can buy a container from lush ( yes you have to buy the container separately!) but then again it is highly priced and i don't think its worth. But you surely need to take care of its storage coz it tends to melt in the humid after shower condition. What i do is i don't close the box immediately after use, i prefer to keep it open for sometime while the exhaust fan is on so that the humidity goes off and the bar doesn't melt :)
But the bathroom surely smells awesome afterwards :) :)

WILL I BUY IT AGAIN? Definitely yes, but i will prefer to reserve it for the winter months.. I don't think it will be required in the hot and humid Indian summers :)

ORIFLAME VERY ME PEACH ME PERFECT SKIN GLOW

Today I will be reviewing ORIFLAME PEACH ME PERFECT SKIN GLOW.
I had this product with me for quite some time now.. but started using it only recently.. and i will say it didn't disappoint me :)

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

SHADES: Light, Dark (these are the official shade names)
I own the light shade.

QUANTITY: 30 ml

PRICE: 329/-
The one that i own, as i mentioned is quite old.. so obviously got cheaper than this.

PACKING: It comes in a cute black soft plastic tube with an orange screw cap.
Convenient to carry around in your handbag without any fear of spillage :)

INGREDIENTS: The list is very long, i am copying and pasting from their official site ;)

CLAIMS: Nothing mentioned on the tube. On their site they have mentioned - Bring out the best in your complexion. Tinted gel moisturizer with a lightweight finish gives you peachy, natural glow. Can be worn alone or with your favourite foundation.

DIRECTIONS: Again nothing mentioned. I prefer to put the product in small dots all over face n neck and then blend in with fingers. You need to use a very small amout, or else you'll turn out looking all white :P
And as mentioned, it can be used alone or with foundation, for me only this product is enough.. no need for any foundation. Maybe for some night time outings/occasions, u'l need a foundation.. but this product alone gives a nice finish :)

SHELF LIFE: 3 years (some people may miss it out, its mentioned on the crimp of the tube ;))

CONSISTENCY: It is a little runny, but i prefer it this ways.. easy to apply and blends in with your skin well.

its the effect may not be visible very well in the pic :(


MY REVIEW:
It is available in only two shades. The light one works well for me, but others may have problem getting the right shade for their complexion :-/

The price may look little high compared to the quantity.. but now-a-days you can easily get a minimum of 20% discount.. there is a lot of competition between members of oriflame.. you can easily benifit ;)

It claims to be a moisturizer  but for people with dry skin, consider adding some additional moisturizer.
Normal skinned people may find it adequate :)

But it surely gives a nice natural glow to the face :D
All dullness goes away instantly! and reveals a bright smooth finish
Has some golden bits that give a nice glow
It has a medium coverage.. hides away redness and to some extent other marks also
Good for daily wear, when you dont want to look all made up ;)
And it does not clog pores.. You can wear it all day, day after day :)
Has a nice sweet fragrance that stays with you till the product does ;)

Top it off with a loose powder so that it stays on longer, and also to avoid looking shiny

The only thing missing, I guess, is that there is no SPF :(
With all the other amazing things.. if it had SPF, it would have been perfect. But sadly its missing :(

WILL I BUY IT AGAIN: Presently, looking for something that contains SPF. Summers already here. But yes.. till i get another nice product with SPF.. i will surely use this one.. I dont mind applying sun block additionally.. its just too good.. Just LOVE the glow it brings and the way it brightens face :D

Artistry is the best Amway brand.. and Amway is one the best brands ;)
I would say it can be trusted on with without any second thought! :)

MY REVIEW:
This product surely lives up to its claims.. After use skin looks fresh and renewed, smooth and polished :)
Has a pleasant tangerine-berry fragrance
Though its very expensive.. but you need to use a very small amount.. so one tube will suffice for a long time.. Plus you need to scrub maximum twice a week ( too much scrubbing is not good for face )
It is definitely worth trying :) :)

TIME TO TAME YOUR BANGS!!

With summers already here.. many of us may be having problems flaunting open hair.. no matter what we do.. it still becomes so messy!!

I have often heard girls commenting.. 'Pata nai isne kaise itni garmi mei baal khule rakhe hain.. mujhe to dekh hi garmi lag rai hai' :P

But well.. no worries.. with the following 10 hairstyles.. you can surely flaunt your lovely hair keeping them off your face..

ITS TIME TO TAME YOUR BANGS!!

Hairstyle # 1

Well this is the most simple one.. Just grab a chunk of hair and secure it on the side with the help of a bobby pin.. You can surely accessorise with a nice hair clip like i did.. but crossed bobby pins look good as well :)

Hairstyle # 2

This is just another way to do the above style.. In the first i just pinned it normally.. But here.. i rolled the hair, created a slight puff and then secured it with clips :)

Hairstyle # 3

For this look.. Just grab a chunk of hair and tie it with a clear band.. Then just flip it!! ( like a flip ponytail)

Secure it with some hair accessory to hide the clear band :)

Very easy to do.. and a different look :)

Hairstyle # 4

Again very easy.. Just grab some hair from the front, roll them, and secure with the help of bobby pins.. I have demonstrated with one and two rolls.. you can do as many as you want :)

Hairstyle # 5

All time favourite! French braid.. The only difference here is that instead of adding hair from both sides.. you just have to add hair from the front.. and your ready for a summer outing :)

Hairstyle # 6

Tired of the same old way of braiding.. Try the reverse braid.. also called bohemian braid.. For this look, while braiding, intead of crossing hair above each other, you just have to braid by crossing hair from underneath.. and you have the all new look :)

Hairstyle # 7

No time to braid? No worries! Try this look.. also called the faux-braid look.. Just grab a chunk of hair and roll them as in hairstyle # 4.. then add some hair from underneath and roll it along with the rest of the hair.. keep adding hair till ear level.. thencontinue to roll some more without adding any hair and secure with bobby pins :)

You need to tightly secure this one.. crossed bobby pins are the best :)

Hairstyle # 8

You can never go wrong with this one.. Sport a normal one with a slight puff for everyday wear.. Or try something bold for an evening out :)

Hairstyle # 9

Again a classic hairstyle you can never go wrong with.. the Puff!

Hairstyle # 10

No time to do anything at all?? Still no worries! :)

Just tie a scarf around.. it will keep your hair off your face and plus gives the added benefit of preventing your hair from the harmful sunrays :)

You can also tie the knot above and flaunt a bow :)

I dont like the conditioners that need to be rinsed off.. instead i prefer leave-in conditioners.. saves time ;)

So today will review MATRIX BIOLAGE SMOOTH THERAPY DEEP SMOOTHING SERUM

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

MY REVIEW:
I apply this serum after every hairwash, on damp hair. It allows me to skip the conditioning step ;)
A very small amount is needed.. excessive use will make your hair oily.
Has a nice fragrance.
When applied to damp hair.. it makes hair shiny, tangle-free and therefore less prone to breakage. So you can flaunt your hair the way you want.. without any fears :)
I dont think there is any need to reapply coz the effect stays well for minimum 2 days for me. If your hair is more prone to getting tangled, maybe you'll need to reapply.
Overall.. A MUST HAVE!!
