Today i will be reviewing MAYBELLINE COLOR BLOOM - COLOR CHANGING LIP BALMS
I just love this brand for the quality it provides at such a genuine price :) :)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
SHADES: Peach Blossom, Pink Blossom
QUANTITY: 1.7 gm
PRICE: 99/-
PACKING: Comes in a nice slender tube
INGREDIENTS: Enriched with pro Vit E, known to be a natural anti-oxidant and Jojoba oil.
(Sorry I don't have the complete list, I have been using these for quite sometime now and have already discarded the packaging)
CLAIMS:
1. Color changes on lips - The transparent balm changes to your own unique pink or coral shade on your lips.
2. Continuous moisture - Lips feel soft, smooth and hydrated for up to 6 hours.
3. UV Protection - SPF 16 for healthy, protected lips.
SHELF LIFE: 3 years
TEXTURE: It is a creamy color changing balm
MY REVIEW:
Peach Blossom gives a nice coral color good for day outs while Pink Blossom converts to an intense shade of pink ideal for evenings :)
Pricing is good. I love the girly packaging.
Claims to contain vit E and Jojoba oil, both of which are good for the skin. But I feel its a normal lip balm and will surely hydrate lips but will not cure chapped lips. If you have excessively dry lips, this may not work for you.
Has SPF 16, no fear of tanning lips, can be easily worn during day time.
Also has an awesome fruity fragrance :)
According to its claim - lips feel soft, smooth and hydrated for up to 6 hours. Well, the creamy layer of balm stays on only for around 2 hours, the stain however stays longer. Still, no matter how many times you reapply, it never feels heavy. So you can touch up n number of times. But repeated application will surely build up the stain. So apply judiciously :)
WILL I BUY IT AGAIN? I liked Peach Blossom more than Pink Blossom. The intense pink doesn't work well for me :( Does not suit my face :(
However the Peach one gives a nice coral shade (plus corals are sooo in!) and i just love it on my lips :) :)
Will surely buy the Peach one again :)
